Friday, October 14 – 7:30pm to 10:30pm

Come out for a night of great A Cappella music in support of Dove Missions! The concert will be featuring performances by the MadHatters, Tangled Up In Blue, Redefined, Fundamentally Sound, and Pitches & Notes. Dove is a non-profit organization serving people in the Dominican Republic and Haiti. All proceeds from ticket sales will go to launch a new music program within the organization.

When Minneapolis resident and mother Liz McKie first visited the Dominican Republic, she had no idea her short trip would turn into a life-changing experience that would put her at the helm of an international charity association.

“I went on a vacation in 2002 and I did not even know where the Dominican Republic was,” said McKie. “I thought Haiti was its own island. I went online to see what our hotel would be like and I found this homeless children’s vocational school.”

McKie decided to bring supplies for the children and on her first day she visited the school to deliver the supplies. The school was located directly across the street from the hotel, and McKie ended up visiting the children every day.

Trip Costs:

Cost for either trip:  $1,200 (US dollars)

Participants are responsible for their own flights and spending money.
